Village Connections is a non-profit community organization enabling older adults to stay in charge of their lives. We provide neighbor-to-neighbor volunteer help on transportation and minor home needs as well as phone/email access to vetted service providers for home health and home maintenance. Additionally we have a monthly schedule of educational, cultural, wellness and civic engagement activities for members. Sunday, January 19 Village Connections launched the organization and opened for business.
How To Build Your Own Village
Village Connections serves the neighborhoods of German Village, Schumacher Place, Merion Village, The Brewery District and Downtown Columbus. We would like to see every neighborhood have their own "Village" so we wrote a one page guide to get interested folks started. Click to download the document HOW TO BUILD YOUR OWN VILLAGE
